My work presents a journey through the use of discarded materials,

found objects, narrative, and symbolic elements. A new direction is

surfacing in my work. I am developing a detailed mythology and

storytelling aspect within my installations and sculptures. Along with

exploring a variety of materials ranging from wood and metal to rubber

and plastics, the content of the work continues to evolve. This is a

juxtaposition of materials through visual narrative. Introducing a variety

of symbols and found objects allows me to draw from the universal tales

that we learn about in our youth. This aspect of memory and recollection

is of interest. I am not concerned with translating these stories in a precise

manner. I am concerned with providing a point of reference for the viewer.

These stories are not always what they seem, the life lessons and morals

can be interpreted in a variety of ways.
